McLaren is working hard on 'Project P14', Project P14 is McLaren's newest car and will be introduced next year in Geneva. We can give you the newest details about the car, which will be named the McLaren 720S.
That's right. McLaren will reveal the 720S in Geneva. It will be the first car of a new era for McLaren. The well-known 3.8 liter V8 engine will be replaced by a new Bi-Turbo 4.0 liter V8. In the 720S it will have, as the name suggests, 720hp. The motor is ready for hybrid systems, however those will be added in later models, not in the 720s. Inside the car new gadgets can be found as well. The dashboard will physically lower when the car goes into track mode. This is to help the driver focus on and see the track, reducing distractions from unnecessary information. The driver will still be able to see the RMP, current gear, oil and cooling temperatures and tire pressure. McLaren will organise previews for potential clients in January. These customers will have to wait a bit because rumour has it the first units that will be produced in 2017 have already been allocated.
