The McLaren MP4-12C is starting to become the Nissan GT-R among the compact sports cars. Almost every year, McLaren makes some slight upgrades to update the car. Again, the changes aren’t big but we do want to highlight them for you. Are you watching Ferrari?
Immediately at the introduction, McLaren placed the MP4-12C as the big competitor of the Ferrari 458 Italia. The car already had more power than the Italian but they can still improve the experience of this car. With this update, the engine takes another step towards perfection. Now, the car produces 625 hp but this will increase to 650 hp. The achieve this improvement by taking components from the engine of the McLaren P1 which actually has the same engine and produces even 700 hp. This means that the MP4-12C still has enough room for new upgrades.
