Those who love Nissan and who love to use their car on the track can’t get around the Nismo GT-R. More powerful, more sporty and developed for the track. For now, this car won’t be spotted on the streets yet, so we have to please you with some photos from the New York Motor Show.
With a sporty spoiler on the back, several red details and bigger bumpers all around the car, you can easily recognize this car from the normal GT-R. This GT-R was developed in cooperation with Nismo. Nowadays, Nissan is working closely with Nismo for the realization of such supercars. Other NISMO projects are the Juke NISMO and the 370Z NISMO.
The 3.8-liter V6 VR38DETT produces 600 hp and 652 Nm of torque thanks to bigger turbos and an improved ignition. Nismo has a lot of experience with races like the 24 hours on the Nürburgring. The suspension of this GT-R is inspired by the Nismo Racing GT-R. Behind the wheels we find stiff and adjustable Bilstein dampers. The sprint from zero to 100 kph takes 2.7 seconds and on the long straight of the Nordschleife you should be able to reach a top speed of over 300 kph.
