Is this the most-driven Porsche Carrera GT in Switzerland? It very well might be. This Lucerne-registered Carrera GT "LU 272035" has been spotted numerous times over the past few months, tackling Switzerland’s legendary mountain passes. In the photos, it’s been seen on both the Furkapass and Sustenpass. On one occasion, it was even spotted climbing the passes alongside a silver 918 Spyder.

On the Furkapass, the Carrera GT shared the road with several other Porsches, while on the Sustenpass it was joined not only by more Porsches but also by some standout BMWs. These included an M3 G81 Touring Competition in Isle of Man Green and, stealing the show, an M3 E30 in iconic BMW M DTM livery with decals, a true homage to the golden era of touring cars. But the true legend here is the Carrera GT itself.

A history on the road
This particular Carrera GT has quite a history. Our archives show it first in 2021 at Monaco’s Casino Square. In 2022, it appeared in Leipzig, Germany, and naturally at the Nürburgring. By 2024, it was seen in Andermatt, which suggests it was enjoying loops around the surrounding passes. That same year, it appeared alongside a silver 918 Spyder, also with a Lucerne license plate, indicating they share the same owner. Interestingly, the Carrera GT’s plate "LU 272035" was previously on a 997 GT2 RS, also seen at the Nürburgring.

The 918 Spyder
The silver 918 Spyder carries the plate "LU 89170" and has its own spotting record. It first appeared in Leipzig in 2024, was later seen in Andermatt alongside the Carrera GT, and more recently in Zürich. In 2025, the same plate was seen on a white 991 GT2 RS Weissach Package at the Nürburgring.

Driven as they should be
It’s clear that all of these cars are in the hands of someone who truly understands them. These aren’t garage queens, they’re driven where Porsches belong: on mountain passes, at Leipzig, and at the Nürburgring, enjoying hot laps and spirited drives.
Kudos to the owner for truly enjoying these incredible cars. If you’re hoping to catch them in action, your best chance is likely one of these three places.
