The first Corvette Stingrays are on their way to their owners, companies and dealerships. Amongst these companies we can expect some tuners who will mount a big compressor or turbo on this V8 engine. Tuner Pfadt is working on the Stingray where they are upgrading the power to 600 hp.
The most important about this car is the LT1 V8 which will be taken care of. To increase the power, the tuner chooses for adjusting the standard components instead of mounting a turbo. The V8 gets a new air intake, camshafts, manifold and a new ECU. Standard, the Stingray produces 460 hp and Pfadt expects to come up with 580 hp.
The Pfadt P58 will get a lot of carbon fiber components including the hood, front splitter, side skirts, spoiler and diffuser. Other options are new brakes including a nice set of wheels.
