Porsche wants to enter 15 new markets by 2020

Volkswagen Group keeps on being successful. Especially the sporty and luxurious divisions keep on growing and Porsche is one of them. The company grows so hard that the management wants to enter fifteen new markets at the end of 2020.

Porsche wants to enter fifteen new markets at the end of this decennium. They want to focus on North-Africa. They think of countries such as Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia. This is what Bernhard Maier, worldwide sales director of Porsche, said during the opening of the biggest Porsche dealership in the world in Shanghai, China. At this moment, Porsche is the most profitable company within the VAG group behind Volkswagen and Audi. That isn’t crazy with sales of almost 150.000 cars every year. They’ve set the goal of selling 200.000 cars in 2015. The introduction of the Macan, which will be available next year will definitely help Porsche to reach this goal. After the United States, China is a very important market for Porsche where they have 57 dealerships. In 2016, they will increase the amount of dealerships to 100.
