Spotter Bastien is mostly active in his home country Belgium. He lives near popular spotting city Knokke-Heist where he often goes spotting. For his 'Best of 2013' he took a look in his archives and found his six best photos of last year. Let's give the word to Bastien to tell us some more about these photos.
Hello, I'm spotter Bastien. I'm active on Autogespot since 2011 and I would love to continue a few more years, I really love this hobby. My goal for 2014 is to take some more photos at every spot and get better in photography. Last year, I've made a lot of photos and bought my first DSLR camera. It was hard to pick my photos but I finally found my best photos.
To start my 'best of' I start with one of my best photos of 2013. I took this photo on 25 August in Knokke-Heist. It was a great day full of great cars such as a McLaren 12C Spider and this brand new Bentley Flying Spur. My day was complete when I spotted my first rare Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M, I love it.
The second photo is also taken in Knokke-Heist. It's about a matte white Aventador, with beautiful matte black details. This photo shows the aggressive look of the Lamborghini.
It's great to spot a car in your home town, especially when it's in the street where you live. This happened with this beautiful Jaguar F-Type S. After this, the F-Type is one of my favorite cars. I like this photo because of the contrast with the green surrounding and the beautiful British car.
The following photo is about a beautiful McLaren. I would love to spot a P1 soon, but this white 12C Spider wasn't that bad either. The contrast with the McLaren and the surrounding is something I like about this photo.
To end my 'Best of 2013' series, I want to take you back to my holiday in Saint-Tropez where I spotted some great cars. It was my first day in Saint-Tropez and I didn't know what to expect. I was satisfied with the cars I've spotted including a F12berlinetta, bright yellow Gallardo and also a lot of 458 Spiders, including this beautiful copy!
