New car manufacterers come and go. Every year new brands try to conquer the market with an extraordinary product. Next year we will see manufacterers like VUHL Automotive with the 05 and Zenos Cars with the same type of sportcar. This one has got such an uninspired name too, the E10.
Zenos Cars is the brain child of Ansar Ali and Mark Edwards, two old managers of Caterham. With an unique bodywork built on a chassis built from carbon fiber and aluminium this car will not start a revolution but it will brings a smile to people's faces. The car will have a weight of 650 kilograms which is feather light. The smile on faces must come from a two liter Ford-engine which will bring 217 bhp and 220 Newtonmeters of torque. The car has got a digital speed-o-meters which will display at least 217 kph. Sprinting to 100 kph will be done in about 4.5 seconds. The engine is connected to a manual gearbox with five or six gears.
The optional extras of the E10 have got a limited slip differential, ventilated braking disks, adjustable dampers and several carbon fiber goodies. In the interior we can see a big LCD-Display which shows information. More extras aren't included for this small carbon fiber racer. The introduction will follow next year, so as two new models by Zenos Cars in 2016 and 2018.
