Some of you might already know him: woppum on Instagram. This chap has a huge passion for cars and a fairly large bank-account. He already has a Ferrari 458 Speciale, a 599 GTO, a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Porsche 991 Turbo S and a 918 Spyder standing in his garage. It's no surprise really that he wanted to buy a GT3 RS to add to his amazing collection, but it doesn't stop there...
Woppum -as we will call him because we don't have his real name- went trough quite a lot of effort to get on the definitive list of clients that will eventually get the GT3 RS, despite the fact that he probably can afford an RS with relative ease. That's just the way it goes with limited edition cars: there is much more demand for cars like this than the maximum number of units produced. That's one of the reasons that GT3 RS's are so extremely expensive at the dealerships that have one standing in their showroom.
But all is well, eventually he made it on the list for a GT3 RS. He must have thought 'nah, a GT3 RS still isn't that special to me, I want one nobody else will have'. So he decided to make a one of one car with the help of Porsche UK and designer Matteo Gilles. I think they have more than reached that goal of creating a unique car. It looks absolutely amazing! The orange color has a lot more depth than the (also fabulous) Lava Orange that Porsche offers as a color option, and the decals that have been put on the car look like they come from Porsche themselves. We look forward to more pictures of this beast, no doubt that Woppum will post a lot more about this car in the future. For now, we just have this spot to deal with.
