The moment is finally there. After ten years of loyal service, the production of the Lamborghini Gallardo has ended. Up to 14.022 Lamborghini Gallardo’s left the factory and this makes it the most sold sports car by Lamborghini, ever. The last model that left the factory is a Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante in the colour Rosso Mars.
When you imagine that ten years ago, Lamborghini sold only 250 cars a year, it’s very impressive that they managed to sell 14.022 Gallardo’s! The Gallardo started a new era at Lamborghini. After ten years, it’s time to say goodbye to the Gallardo and welcome the new Cabrera. The factory will be adjusted for the production of this new car which we will probably meet on the Geneva Motor Show, next year. Less weight, a renewed gearbox and the same V10 engine. We can’t wait for the Gallardo’s successor!
