The Gallardo LP560-4 is a great car to drive. But it’s also a car which you can look at for hours. The Gallardo is at its best in an exotic colour, this makes it a true piece of art.
Last week, we visited the Lamborghini dealership in Stuttgart. The huge amount of Lamborghini’s was the first thing that stood out. Second, all cars had a special colour, this weren’t cars you would see every day. A beautiful Gallardo LP570-4 Performante in the colour Blu Cepheus is definitely the most beautiful Gallardo in this showroom. This colour is introduced with the Ad Personam Personalization program in 2009. It’s a pearlescent colour which looks even better in the bright sun. Behind the Performante, we find another beautiful Gallardo in another unique colour, Rosso Mars. This is a second colour we don’t see that often on a Gallardo.
A third Gallardo in the showroom is the new LP560-4 in the colour Giallo Tenerifa. This is a three layer pearlescent colour which looks brighter than the standard Giallo Midas. It’s a beautiful colour but unfortunately we don’t see much Gallardo’s in this colour which makes this copy really unique.
On the top floor we found another special Gallardo. This copy will be seen more often on the track than on the streets, although that's what we hope for. Lamborghini developed the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo especially for track use. The Super Trofeo weighs only 1340 kilograms which is 70 kilograms less than the standard LP560-4.
