Lamborghini Temerario: First customer car hits the road in Dubai

Back in August 2024, Lamborghini took the covers off the Temerario during Monterey Car Week, making a bold statement in the supercar world. However, long before its official debut, the first sighting of a camouflaged prototype was in Kelberg, Germany, in 2023. Since then, we’ve seen it testing in Nürburg, Ingolstadt, and most recently, Heilbronn. But now, for the first time, the Temerario has been spotted outside of Europe - where else but Dubai?

Finished in an eye-catching bright red with bronze wheels, this particular example is believed to be the first customer car on the road, rather than another factory test mule. That means Lamborghini has officially started deliveries of its latest beast.

Powertrain - The return of the V8, but electrified

With the Temerario, Lamborghini has made a major shift in engine philosophy. After years of naturally aspirated V10s in the Huracán and Gallardo, they’ve gone back to a V8 - but this time, it’s a plug-in hybrid twin-turbocharged monster.

This powertrain produces an insane 677 kW (920 PS), launching the car from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and delivering a top speed of 343 km/h. For context, the first-generation Huracán had 610 hp, meaning the Temerario packs an extra 310 hp under the hood. That’s a massive leap in performance.

Exterior - A fusion of Lamborghini DNA and futurism

The Temerario represents a significant milestone in Lamborghini’s design language. While unmistakably a Lambo, it integrates fresh, futuristic touches with tributes to iconic models from the brand’s history.

One of the most striking features is the hexagon-shaped daytime running lights - a nod to Lamborghini’s signature geometric style but reinterpreted in a modern way. Another highlight is the exposed engine, framed beautifully by a new rear spoiler that isn’t just for show - it plays a crucial role in improving aerodynamic efficiency.

Interior - A true pilot’s cockpit with unparalleled comfort

Inside, Lamborghini continues its “Feel like a pilot” philosophy but with a new approach. While still focused on an immersive driving experience, the cabin also prioritizes comfort like never before.

Thanks to a longer wheelbase than the Huracán, the Temerario offers more headroom and introduces new comfort seats, making it the most livable Lamborghini super sports car to date. Tech lovers will appreciate the revamped Human-Machine Interface (HMI), which includes next-gen features like:

• Telemetry 2.0 - Track your driving data like never before
• Memories Recorder - Capture your best drives
• Dashcam - Built-in security and recording
• Augmented Reality Navigation - Next-level driving assistance

Alleggerita Package - For those who want more

For hardcore drivers who want an even sharper, more track-focused experience, Lamborghini offers the ‘Alleggerita’ (lightweight) package.

This upgrade shaves off over 25 kg from the car’s weight by incorporating carbon fiber wheels while also dramatically improving aerodynamics. Downforce is boosted by 67%, and overall aero efficiency is increased by 62%, making it an absolute weapon on the track.

Spaceframe - Cutting-edge engineering

Beneath the sculpted body, the Temerario’s spaceframe is entirely crafted from aluminum, introducing a new high-strength alloy for high-pressure castings. Lamborghini has used a combination of:

• High-strength hydroformed extrusions
• Hollow castings with thin closed inertia profiles
• Engineering elements first seen on the Revuelto

This construction technique delivers maximum strength while keeping the car light and rigid, ensuring that the Temerario handles just as aggressively as it looks.

Final thoughts

With the first customer-delivered Temerario now roaming the streets of Dubai, Lamborghini’s new era has officially begun. A hybrid twin-turbo V8, a lightweight and rigid chassis, and cutting-edge aerodynamics make this one of the most exciting supercars of the modern era. Whether you’re into its insane power, futuristic design, or the tech-packed cockpit, one thing’s for sure - the Temerario is an absolute beast.

What are your thoughts on Lamborghini’s new hybrid supercar? Would you take the Alleggerita package, or do you prefer the standard setup? Let’s hear it!
