You’re not supposed to introduce a hypercar like the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster in the gardens of a chic castle or another elegant location. No, the Veneno Roadster belongs on an extreme place like the Nave Cavour aircraft carrier of the Italian Navy. Lamborghini used the air craft carrier in Abu Dhabi to present this hypercar in the Middle-East.
Earlier we already showed you the first pictures of the first Veneno Roadster in a garage of a car collector in Beverly Hills. Lamborghini choose for a different introduction in the Middle-East. During the exclusive ‘Italian night’ the authorities, customers, media and VIPs were invited to take a closer look at this hypercar. To make it a special night, this all took place on the 240 meters long aircraft carrier that’s currently stationed in the Mina Zayed harbor in Abu Dhabi. The aircraft carrier is ready for battle, just like the Veneno Roadster.
Stephan Winkelmann, CEO and director of Lamborghini, knows that the Middle-East is quite important for the company and that’s probably why Lamborghini will soon open a new showroom in Abu Dhabi to increase the sales. In Abu Dhabi, 190 cars were sold this year and the Middle-East is aiming for 1000 cars a year.
Together with the Sesto Elemento, the Veneno Roadster is one of the most extreme supercars over the past three years. Lamborghini will build 9 Roadsters and 3 Coupés. The Roadster will cost you up to 3.3 million Euros excluding taxes and this means that it’s even more expensive as the Pagani Huayra, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport and the Aston Martin One-77.
