I just scale the image so that the width is always 2540 px. In case of verticals it causes a picture to weigh a little too much, so I have to slightly compress it, to be under 3 MB. First thing I do is changing resolution from 300dpi to 75dpi. If this is not enough, I have to decrease quality by 3-5%
