Last year, the Chinese celebrated the Year of the Dragon. Aston Martin joined this party with their Dragon 88 Limited Editions. After the Virage Dragon 88 edition was spotted in Zhengzhou, it’s now time for the V8 Vantage with its Chinese theme.
Aston Martin had a very good year in China, last year. They opened eleven new dealerships and had the introduction of the Dragon 88 China Limited Editions on the Beijing Motor Show. This was Aston Martin’s debut on a big Chinese motor show. China is becoming the third biggest market for Aston Martin. The Dragon 88 editions are available for the most powerful and prestigious model, the DBS, Virage and V8 Vantage S.
Aston Martin built 88 copies of every model. Every car has unique bespoke details which show the mythical power of the dragon. The car has a 24 carat Aston Martin logo on the front and is painted in a unique colour which stands for Chinese tradition and art. These colours are gold, silver and red.
