Spotted for the first time in South Salem (NY)

This is one of my best spots ever!!!!! This is an insanely rare Maserati Ghibli Spyder SS! What differentiates this from the normal Ghibli Spyder is that the SS had a V8 engine with a top speed of 169 MPH. Out of the 125 Ghibli Spyders produced, only 23 were SS Spyders and only 11 are in existence today. It was confirmed by the driver that this IS, in fact, a legit Ghibli Spyder SS (however the car is not his, but his friend's). I ended up finding this because after I got picked up from school and missing this car on the way to technical school, our minivan got a hole in its muffler, so we went into this gas station to see our mechanic. During the five minutes we were at the gas station, this just pulls right in, and the driver stopped to make a phone call. The odds of finding this on the road at that exact time are astronomical, and this doesn't even seem to be registered for the road as it didn't have any plates on it. The driver told me that he was shooting a video with the car with a few of his friends in the town over and this car came out of a private collection. This is one of my best spots EVER!!!!! Great spot...I can read and see that you are excited about this spot...and rightfully so. Sorry you didn't get SOTD, but if you look at your own spots of today you can see that your S 63 AMG has about 50% more views than this Maserati. So I guess most AG visitors are more excited about the newer cars than older ones, plus they are mostly from Europe and still excited about a C7 Z06 :), since it is a rare exotic over there.
