Those who visit a dealership of Maserati at the end of 2015 can not only choose between a Ghibli, Quattroporte or a GranTurismo. In 2015, Maserati will add the Levante to their range of models. For the first time in the history of the brand they introduce an SUV.
Maserati confirmed the fact that the sporty SUV will be available at the end of 2015. The official introduction will probably take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015. The Levante is part of a series of new models that will be introduced in the next few years. The Alfieri coupé will be available ain 2016 and Maserati also confirmed the new GranTurismo Coupé. Maserati does this with the goal to sell 50.000 cars in 2015 and even more in 2016. Let's see if Maserati will manage to reach this goal. The Maserati will be less exclusive but with more Maseratis on the streets the cities definitely get perked up.
The Levante will be powered by the same V6 and V8 as the Ghibli and Quattroporte. Next to these two gasoline versions, you can also choose a three liter diesel engine. The production will start at the end of 2015 and we expect the first car on the streets early 2016.
