The Formula 1-car of McLaren from the season of 2008 is a real beauty when it comes to use of colours. A kind of matt chrome paint in combination with red stripes make this car stand out of the ‘boring’ red Ferrari’s. The McLaren-dealer in Newport Beach wanted to copy this idea and came up with this special MP4-12C.
Personally I think this McLaren looks good in the colours. It makes the car look a bit less clinical than its normal brother, which drives together with this McLaren. It gives it an exclusive look, of course it already looked exclusive. With 625 bhp and 600 Newtonmeters of torque it makes all the expectations come true, because this is a bloody fast car. Despite that it won’t come close to the performances of its big brother from the Formula 1. Just as on that car, it also is exclusive when you’re behind the wheel, because carbon fiber can be found everywhere. This combination of exterior and interior surely is nice, hopefully we will see it more on Autogespot!
