In early 2015, McLaren will introduce a third model. For those who couldn't afford a 650S Coupé, this is great news. This entry level model will be cheaper but it will still be a real McLaren.
At this moment McLaren is talking about the so-called Sport Series. But that won't be the real name of this sports car. Just like the 650S, this model will be available as a Coupé and Spider. Next to that, a hardcore version is also expected. Just like other car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche do.
The same 3.8 liter V8 will be used for this new McLaren. Except the fact that it has less power than the 650S. The performance will be similar to the Porsche 911 Carrera S and Mercedes-AMG GT. The teaser shows us a brutal McLaren with the characterizing wing doors.
The McLaren will be officially introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Of course we will be present to show you this new model. The price of the car is expected around 160.000 euro excluding taxes.
