The Mille Miglia in Italy is one of the most beautiful races in the world. Thanks to the beautiful roads in Italy and the amazing classics and supercars that participate in this event. Unfortunately, it’s not always that great. This year, a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing crashed. The sons of the founder of the rental company Sixt were behind the steering wheel of the Mercedes which crashed into a BMW 1-Series.

We don’t know what exactly happened but it always hurt to see a damaged 300 SL Gullwing. Luckily, we still have some photos of this beautiful 300 SL which was spotted in 2008. The crash happened on the small roads north of Rome. The cars crashed into each other and caused a lot of damage. Luckily, the men in Stuttgart are capable enough to revive this SL. Luckily no persons were injured in this crash! We hope to see this 300 SL Gullwing get back on the roads soon!
