If I were Mercedes, I would not allow Galpin to use the Mercedes Benz name. I would sue Galpin for doing that. Apart from the name and some parts I think this car has nothing to do with Mercedes at all. It looks more like it is based on an American car, maybe a Lincoln. It just does not have an European look over it. And well, the design is not really my cup of tea.

@joos straetmans as we can see, "Mercedes" doesn't appear anywhere on the car, so they don't use the brand's name as well

@nico991s : I do agree with you, but anyone who is not well informed about cars would call this creature a Mercedes because of the front. And maybe it would be better if Autogespot would not call this a Mercedes, but a Galpin or better still a Ford.

What a strange thing! Both ugly and beautfiul at the same time. Looks like the mixture of like 10 cars: S-Class, Bentayga, Mulsanne, SLS, Phantom and so on.
Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, car comes off to me as very classy. I would to have it, its just that I don't do cars that's not American. I have lived in Germany, the place didn't seem that classy to me. I agree with the gentlemen that thought it looks like a Mulsanne, and others. Classy ride for the rich guys.

It's classy indeed, because it fits in the English tradition of not-female-and-a-bit-ugly-chic, with the brilliant Phantom as the most famous recent example. It lacks it's coherence, though. (Hood Side: Caddy Sixteen, back: GroBer 'mr. Big' 600). I wouldn't care being found dead in it, especially since the interior is the marvellous art déco original new S-Klasse-one.
