Movie: Ringtaxi vs. Cayman GT4 vs. Aventador SV

You've probably seen the movies in which supercars get beaten by the infamous M3 Ringtaxi's at the Nürburgring. However, this isn't the case in the following film. The Aventador SV and Cayman GT4 stand their ground against the seasoned Ringtaxi driver.

Let's get our facts straight first. The BMW from which this movie has been filmed is the last generation F80 M3. It's powered by a straight-six biturbo and produces 431 hp. It's a bit on the heavy side though, it has to carry 1520 kilograms around. The big advantage here is that the M3 is being driven by a very experienced driver who knows the 'ring inside and out. The downside is that the M3 is on street tires, hence the tire squeal.

Player two is the Porsche Cayman GT4. This track-focused Cayman is the most suitable device from this trifecta to attack the Ring with. It has the least amount of power (385 hp) but it also has to carry the least amount of weight around (1340 kilograms). As I've said, it's the most purpose-built vehicle. It handles great and that shows in the video!

Last but not least: the Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce. With it's 750 hp it has by far the most power, but it's also the most pricey car of the lot. It requires some balls to drive this vastly expensive hypercar in a steady pace across the Ring. It's weight is 1525 kilograms, which is heavier than the M3. The power will compensate more than enough for the weight though!

Who will win? Is experience more valuable in a race than power? Or is the Cayman GT4 going to show what it's built for? Enjoy!
