Alfa Romeo thinks their 4C will be quite popular in the United States and we can’t disagree. Downsizing isn’t a strange term in the United States and with the looks of this Alfa Romeo 4C it won’t be too hard to sell this car. To make the Americans fall in love with the 4C, Alfa Romeo brought the car to New York.
The United States always had quite remarkable rules regarding the regulations for cars. Pagani wasn’t allowed for a long time and the Alfa Romeo 4C also had to do some concessions to be allowed in the United States. The car got a new fuel system, an improved crumple zone and the addition of aluminum strengthening in the chassis make the car weigh an extra 100 kilograms than the 895 kilograms it weights in Europe. The 1.750 cc engine will have to work harder to accelerate in the United States but the car will definitely be just as fun to drive!
