Kitzbühel, Austria just recently witnessed something truly special: the latest project from Novitec, the Ferrari Purosangue Novitec Esteso. Already a bold machine straight from Maranello, the Purosangue gets an even more dramatic transformation under Novitec’s touch, both visually and technically.
This particular build is finished in Nero Purosangue, a color that lives up to its name. At first glance, it looks black. But when the sun hits it just right, it reveals deep red undertones that give the SUV an elegant glow. It’s a rich, stealthy color that plays with light in the most captivating way, perfect for a car this rare and aggressive.
Novitec, known for refining supercars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren, has developed the Esteso widebody kit exclusively for the Purosangue. The widebody treatment adds a full 6 centimeters to the car’s width, pushing it out to an imposing 2.09 meters. But it’s not just for show, the design improves aerodynamic efficiency and high-speed handling stability.
The new body panels are offered in two flavors: lightweight exposed-structure carbon fiber with a high-gloss finish for that motorsport vibe, or PUR-Rim plastic which can be painted in body color or a contrasting tone for those who want a subtler take. And for those not keen on going full widebody, Novitec offers a slimmer visual upgrade package that skips the fender flares but still amps up the presence.
At the front, you’ll find aggressive Novitec Esteso spoilers on both corners and in the center, which boost downforce at speed. The front fascia trim and available exposed-carbon hood upgrades sharpen the look even more. You can even swap in an entirely new carbon hood or dress up the engine bay with carbon airbox covers. Mirror caps, side vents, rocker panels, and even the roof spoiler are available in the same race-inspired material, adding flair and function all around.
Around back, the SUV is just as wild. A custom diffuser, rear spoiler, and roof wing, all in exposed carbon, complete the package. And every widebody needs the right footwear. Novitec teamed up with American wheel specialists Vossen to develop a set of custom forged wheels, available in three styles, 72 colors, and with brushed or polished finishes. The rear wheels are massive 23-inch rims wrapped in 315/30 ZR 23 tires, while the front runs on 22-inch with 255/35 ZR 22 rubber. These aren’t just for show, the setup widens the track and improves handling, especially with Novitec’s custom sport springs that drop the ride height by 25 mm.
Under the hood, things get even more serious. Novitec’s high-performance exhaust system (available in stainless steel or ultra-light Inconel, with optional 999 fine-gold plating) frees up an extra 30 hp, bumping the 6.5-liter V12 up to 755 hp (556 kW). Whether you want sound management via active butterfly valves or a raw, unfiltered roar, Novitec gives you the choice. And yes, you can even get the tailpipes finished in that same fine-gold plating for a truly over-the-top touch.
Inside, Novitec offers full interior customization, practically any material, color, and stitching combo you can dream up is possible. Like the exterior, the cabin can be tailored to reflect your unique taste, whether that’s full Alcantara, custom leather, or carbon trim everywhere.
With the Purosangue Esteso, Novitec proves once again that there’s no such thing as “too bold.” It’s not just a tuned Ferrari SUV, it’s a statement. A wide, loud, low, luxurious V12 monster that’s equal parts artwork and engineering. And in Nero Purosangue? It’s absolutely sinister.
