The current generation of the BMW M3, the E92, is coming to an end. The new 3-Series already is on the streets, and the new one already has been tested. The American tuner Vörsteiner wanted to give a good goodbye and designed a new series of the GTRS. The GTRS5 is the ultimate of Vörsteiners widebody models.
Vörsteiner says this car is the ultimate eyecatcher, both on the track as on the roads. Influence from racing cars is recognizable which gives the car an unique look. The front- and rear bumper are designed again to optimize the air stream. For instance the flippers on the diffuser are longer, to give the car even more downforce. Other things are only little details. The standard kit exists from 8 parts, which make the car a lot wider than the standard M3 E92. A carbon fiber bonnet, carbon fiber boot lid, and a titanium exhaust system are optional, which are ‘must haves’. Of course for Vörsteiner this is the easiest way to sell these parts. When you buy a Vörsteiner GTRS5, you should do it properly and buy these parts. Only 40 copies will be produced. Hopefully, one or more are coming to Europe.
