We're staying for a while hanging with the McLaren brand. This specimen in London attracted attention because of its color in the night.
Papaya orange first appeared on factory cars in 1968. The look quickly became associated with the McLaren name and was associated with successes in F1, Can-Am, Indycar racing and even Formula 5000 and Formula 2. Fifty years later, the color also returned to the Formula 1 car of the present era and has not said goodbye since. The McLaren 765LT Spider that we see here in London is therefore also equipped with that popular color. The lighting of other cars makes the color pop and the lines of the Long Tail are also clearly visible. This shows once again that the LT is a special supercar.
