Bentley makes the Continental GT faster and faster all the time. But it never has become a proper racer, a road-illegal GT-racer. Until now. Bentley shows the people the Continental GT3, in Paris. It’s the first time since 2003 the Brits are active in the racing business.
Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, Bentley’s big boss, says that customers think a Bentley belongs on the track. For them it has always been a dream to go wild with the Continental GT since its introduction in 2002. The most important change is the conversion from four wheel drive to rear wheel drive, that’s a commitment in the FIA GT3-class. The Bentley will challenge brands like Corvette, Ferrari and Porsche at the end of 2013.
