Paris 2012: Land Rover Range Rover

Recapitulatory, the new Range Rover from Land Rover is the ultimate luxury SUV. The unique combination of performance, luxury and the extreme off-road capabilities make the car a success. The new model still has the unique character of a real Range Rover but it has made a huge step forward with the new exterior.

The bodywork is completely out of aluminum and this is new in the world of SUV’s. It reduces the weight with 410 kilograms and this makes the performance, handling and durability much better. The exterior is classy as well as modern, it is a real Range Rover with a fresh new look. Especially new are the head and taillights. The grill on the front of the car is slightly different to the old Range Rover. The exterior is more sporty and this makes the Range Rover more aerodynamic than ever before. The Land Rover’s Terrain Response® system is completely new and this pushes the off-road boundaries a bit further.

On the inside, the Range Rover is a modern habitat where Land Rover used the best materials like leather, wood and aluminum. In the back you now have 118 millimeters extra room for your legs. A new option is the Executive Class Seating with two individual seats in the back, ideal for those who love to be driven by others or those who love to have maximal luxury for their children.

Every model will have enough power. There are two diesel engines and one gasoline engine available. The diesel engines have 258 bhp (3.0 liters TDV6) and 339 bhp (4.4 liters SDV8). The top model is the five liters V8 Supercharged. With a power of 510 bhp and the consumption of a real Englishmen in the pub is completely irresponsible but just a lot of fun!
