Paris 2012: Peugeot Onyx Concept

Paris 2012: Peugeot Onyx Concept

There are not a lot of concept cars in Paris this year. But if there is one car we may not forget it is the Onyx Concept. No, this isn’t a concept from the English tuner but from the Frenchmen from Peugeot. We don’t know what Peugeot wants with the car in the future but maybe we will see some of the design elements later in one of their future models.

A concept car wouldn’t be a real concept car if they haven’t done everything to make the car look really good. The exterior is extreme and looks really futuristic. A 3.7 liters V8 and the electric motor produce 600 bhp together which they distribute to the rear wheels. Due to the fact that they used a lot of carbon fiber and aluminum the car weighs only 1.100 kilograms. The interior is very progressive. They used compressed newspapers to make it. Very trendy! This concept will probably move to the Peugeot museum when the exhibition is over.
