Perfect for Monaco: Spada Vetture Sport Condatronca TS

Back in 2011, this was one of the most striking cars of the Top Marques-parlour, the creation of Spada Vetture Sport. A sports car with an extremely unique design, of which it isn’t strange that it didn’t became a big success. Years after the introduction, we can finally welcome the first copy on Autogespot. This eccentric appearance was spotted in the city where it was introduced, Monaco.

Everything of this car is about the name Codatronca. In Italian, this means cutted tail. Back in the sixties, designer Ercole Spada worked at Carozzeria Zagato, where they experimented with the so-called cut-off tail to achieve aerodynamical progress. More than 40 years later, Spada came back. This time it was his son Paolo who gave birth to the Codatronca. The car is both available as a coupe and as a convertible , of course the coupe version is the most controversial. Especially the back looks unique, it is the most controversial part of the car. Nevertheless, this is a supercar which fits perfectly in the street scene of Monaco. In the Middle-East, you don’t have to be amazed by the so-called tuning topspots, in Monaco it’s the same with cars like the Codatronaca. Under the bonnet, we can find a 7-liter V8, taken from the Corvette Z06, which produces 700 bhp. This results in a a topspeed of 350 kph.
