We already knew that Porsches newest supercar wouldn’t be cheap but we didn’t knew that it would be so expensive in China. The price is almost twice as high as the American price, where the car already costs 900.000 Dollars.
So how expensive is this car? Converted to American Dollars you need to pay 2.19 million Dollars for a standard Porsche 918 Spyder. When you want the Weissach package, you’ll need even 2.39 million Dollars. Amazingly high, but that has a reason. Not only does China have a very high import tax, Porsche also wants to gain some more money on the Chinese market. They know how much wealthy Chinese people want this car and that’s why they decided to increase the price.
