We all know RUF, Gunther Werks and Singer. But in a little town in the Black Forest, there is a workshop, called GS Manufaktur, where father and son build very individual Porsches for their customers. With their Porsche 911 Backdate, which they call 964 GS “The Apparatus”, they offer a very special example of the 911 Backdate section.
The Term “Apparatus” is used for technical machines in the Black Forest area. The gave the Porsche 964 GS that very name, because the history background fits the car quite well. An apparatus needs an expert hand to be operated as it was designed. Their specially developed carbon outer mold, is their greatest pride. Through a very complex manufacturing process on the CAD program, the original design was further developed and now manufactured in 100% carbon.
All parts are manufactured in autoqlave to achieve the highest quality level.
What a beautiful piece of art!
