Small bugfixes on Autogepsot

We recently fixed a few small issues on Autogespot. Continue to read all about it.

Better Feedback for upload issues
When uploading photos, something could occasionally go wrong during processing by our servers. When this now happens, you will automatically receive an email asking for a bit of patience. If the spot still isn’t online after ten minutes, you can easily re-upload it.

Avatars restored to default logo
Users with a missing avatar now have the default Autogespot logo as their profile picture again. Of course, you can easily change this through your profile settings.

Search by categories in news articles
It is now possible again to filter news articles by category. This way, you can more quickly find the articles that interest you.

Removal of Carrera and Continental rule
With the introduction of the new upload rule (minimum of five photos per spot), the separate rules for the Carrera and Continental series have been discontinued.

Important: only use your own photos
We’d also like to draw your attention to the following:
All photos on your account must be your own. It is not allowed to upload photos taken by others under your name. If you'd like to share spots together, you can create a joint account.

So, if you receive photos of a special spot from a friend, they should upload them themselves. This helps us avoid complaints, confusion, or other issues.

Do you have other suggestions to help improve the site? Feel free to share them in the comments or by email!

Happy spotting this summer!
