During the Volvo Polestar Racing Gothenburg City Race, Volvo announced the spectacular S60 Polestar Performance Concept which we wrote about last week. 508 bhp and 580 Nm of torque is the amount of power the six cylinder engine is producing. Who thought that it would stay by this concept and it would go into a museum is wrong. Volvo sold the car for 300.000 U.S. Dollars! Who bought this car? Some of you may know the right answer.
It is not Jon Olsson or another Swedish car freak with lots of money. No, it is a true Volvo addict from the Middle-east that ordered this Polestar. The owner can drag race against a Ferrari F430 or a Mercedes-Benz AMG and could possibly win. The polestar concept can sprint to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 310 km/h! Not bad for a Volvo and we hope the Polestar will get spotted just like his little brother the de C30 Polestar Concept.
