In less than two months McLaren will unveil the new 720 S. Here at AutoGespot we are able (once again) to post some details about this new McLaren. Our source that is 'close to the fire' was able to inform us, jut like last year when we know upfront the coming of the MSO HS.
At last month's Winter Ball McLaren gave the attendants a brief preview of the 720 S. The successor of the 720 S will be a more mature car with significant updates on both the interior and the exterior. We already wrote about the new adjustable dashboard and the upgrade of the car's multimedia system. The 720 S will also get a glass roof for great panoramic views.
Some of the data we already knew, like the new 4.0 V8 engine with that will produce 720 hp, and the new power train that will be ready for the hybrid addition that we know from the McLaren P1. This will not be part of the 720 S, but made available in a more powerful version that we can expect in 2018.
In the next video we can see the addition of some new gadgets. We see the 'Audi style' turning signals and the body of the 'P14', the name of the project.
