We already wrote about the special car Lamborghini will bring to Geneva. In first instance, it was about an Aventador LP720-4. More powerful, tougher and limited. Another news article says that it will be something else and that makes us curious. What will Lamborghini bring to Geneva?
The gentlemen from Lamborghini have a problem because their competitors from Ferrari show the F150 supercar in Geneva. This will be the most popular stand on the exhibition. It is also the most important scoop of the entire exhibition. Now, Lamborghini wants to come up with a spectacular model too. The director of the design department, Filip Perini, gave us some interesting new information in an interview with CarAdvice.
Lamborghini will show a model which we can compare with the extreme Aventador J of last year. The car has to create a shock effect. It will be more than just a few carbon fiber details and some extra power. The production will be very limited, only ten copies will be made. Perini also told that the car will be street legal. We are hoping to see a teaser before the Geneva Motor Show, we are very excited!
What makes it all even more exciting is the fact that a topic is opened on TeamSpeed where several rumors are spread. Different models will be made to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary. 100 Aventador coupes, 10 Aventador Roadsters and also the one-off which we will see in Geneva. That’s what these rumors tell us now. We’ll probably just have to wait for some more information.
