Spot of the Day USA: Ferrari 599 GTO in Malibu California

This Gran Turismo Omologato of the 599 series was spotted in Malibu California by spotter kasmac92. This is one (1) of the 599 copies made, and one (1) of only 125 copies that were destined for the United States. That is a small number of the production when you consider that the United States is Ferrari's largest single market (30% of the total production).

The 599 GTO was at the time Ferrari's fastest road car ever built, it was even faster than the Ferrari Enzo on Ferrari's home circuit, Fiorano. The V12 engine produces 670 hp and 460 lb·ft of torque and that makes the 599 GTO accelarate from 0-62 mph in under 3.3 seconds. The top speed of this "classic" is 208 mph and you can't test that in the city limits of Malibu. But we are pretty sure that driving this car on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), or highway 1, must be an experience to never forget!
