Spotter delasoul_le definitely captured a topspot. He recently spotted this beautiful Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spyder in Como, Italy. This beautiful and very unique car was spotted in the color Blue Ceruleo.
The Disco Volante Spyder is the latest creation of Carozzeria Touring Superleggera, coach builder from Italy. After the company turned the Alfa Romeo 8C into the Disco Volante, back in 2012, we were still waiting for an open version. Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera presented the Disco Volante Spyder on the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. A total of seven copies will be build and all of these copies will have a unique color.
The 4.7 liter V8 from Maserati produces, just like it does with the coupé, 450 hp and makes the Disco Volante Spyder sprint to 100 kph in 4.5 seconds. The engine also produces 480 Nm of torque which are transfered to the wheels via a sequential automatic six speed gearbox. Of course the looks of the car are more important than the performance. This copy is the exact same copy as was shown on the Geneva Motor Show. We hope that we will see all the seven copies return on our website!
