Who of you had ever heard of the Lamborghini Calà before? We guess that nobody did. This model is so unique and rare because it’s made as a concept car for Lamborghini. Designed by Italdesign Giugiaro we already expected a unique look but this model doesn’t look like a Lamborghini at all. People even say that this model looks like a Lotus. Let’s take a closer look at the history of this car.
The design comes from 1995 and the car was revealed on the Geneva Motor Show. Unfortunately, this car didn’t make it to the streets, although this is a driving prototype. Powered by a V10, this car produces 400 hp which results in a unique ride. Originally, the Calà was built to be produced, it was designed as successor of the Lamborghini Jalpa. But at the time that Lamborghini was sold to Volkswagen, the idea of the Calà was over. What’s left is this yellow copy, which is very unique. When this model still reminds you of something it might be that you’ve played Need for Speed back in the days. The Calà was available in two parts of this game.
