Spyspot: Toyota GT86 with aeropack

You just bought your Toyota GT86, but think the car can be a little bit more exciting? Have patience, because Toyota is testing an aero-kit for the GT86. The car has been spotted last week at the Nordschleife.

Maybe it’s just marketing. Porsche knows how to do this trick like no other, introducing a new car and then introduce a kit for the car. Toyota now does this too. Under the bonnet we still find a 2.0 liters boxer engine from Subaru with 200 bhp. This will not be boosted at the version with the aero package. The package will only include the exterior. A little spoiler at the front bumper will be mounted, just like new sideskirts. At the back, a big spoiler will be fitted and the bumper will be slightly modified. All these modifications will give the car lower air resistance with a Cw-coefficience of just 0,27 which is extremely low. The price for Europe isn’t decided yet. In Australia, where this kit is already available, it costs around 3000 pounds.
