It took a while, but now the first Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is uploaded on Autogespot. In Zürich, the first copy was spotted but you have to take a good look to see the differences with a normal AMG. What does the extra 17.000 Euros for this GT version bring you?
17.000 Euros for an extra 20 horsepower is a lot of money. A lot of tuners give you a lot more power for less money but Mercedes-Benz AMG hasn’t only upgraded the engine. They changed the gearbox ratios and the car changes gears faster. The damping is hardened and you can’t select the ‘comfort mode’ anymore. The stripe on the steering wheel shows you when you’re wheels are straight and it shows the true nature of this car: you need to drive it on the track!
