The first uncovered 992 S/T emerges!

So far, we've only seen camouflaged 992 S/Ts. All of them in black with taped details. Now, welcome the very first uncovered 992 S/T.

It's not just a brand-new 992 S/T on display here, but also the breathtaking specification that was chosen. The attentive observer has long noticed that the rims have been painted white, and the paint is the brand-new PTS color Rubystar Neo. The color combination is already known from the 718 Boxster Style Edition. It was the first model on which you could order the Rubystar Neo color.
The exclusive anniversary model combines the strengths of the 911 GT3 with the Touring package and the 911 GT3 RS, offering a unique blend of agility and driving dynamics. It combines the 386 kW (525 hp) strong 4.0-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine from the 911 GT3 RS with a closely spaced manual transmission. This is complemented by a consistent lightweight design and suspension tuning optimized for agility and handling. The Porsche 911 S/T weighs only 1,380 kilograms (DIN curb weight, including all fluids), making it the lightest model of the 992 generation. The optional Heritage Design Package is inspired by the racing version of the 911 S from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The design of the anniversary model incorporates Porsche's GT and motorsport expertise. This is reflected in its particularly agile and dynamic driving behavior, designed for maximum fun on winding country roads. Reducing rotating masses in both the engine and the wheels and brakes ensures a particularly dynamic response. The S/T responds immediately to driver commands. Every steering movement, every touch of the gas or brake pedal is executed immediately and precisely. Unlike the 911 GT3 RS, the focus in developing the 911 S/T was not on track use but on driving on public roads.

The name indicates that the new 911 S/T is the successor to a particularly performance-oriented version of the first 911 generation. From 1969, Porsche offered a special racing version of the 911 S. Internally, these vehicles were called 911 ST. Through modifications to the chassis, wheels, engine, and body, acceleration, braking, traction, and cornering grip were significantly improved. Large spoilers and other aerodynamic aids were not used on these models. The new 911 S/T captures the spirit of the original 911 S (ST) and transfers it to the current generation of the Porsche 911. The anniversary model combines elements of the 911 GT3 RS with the body of the 911 GT3 with Touring Package and adds specially developed lightweight components for the 911 S/T. The result is a unique driving experience within the 911 GT portfolio.
