For many, the 997 series is still considered the most beautiful of all 911s. When the top-of-the-line GT2 model appears, especially in a stunning Paint to Sample (PTS) color, it's hard to top. That's precisely what happened in the heart of downtown London.
Not only was this beautiful 997 kept in a stunning exterior configuration, but the interior as well. Mint green might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's a highly popular color in the PTS program, and this is one of the very few mint green 997 GT2s, if not the only one.
The 997 GT2 is powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine. This engine produces an impressive 523 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, enabling rapid acceleration. With a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint of around 3.6 seconds and a top speed of about 329 km/h (204 mph), the 997 GT2 is one of the fastest road-going sports cars of its time.
In contrast to some other 911 models, the GT2 is only available with rear-wheel drive. This makes the vehicle particularly agile and driver-focused.
To reduce weight, lightweight materials like aluminum and carbon fiber were used in the construction of the 997 GT2. This optimizes the power-to-weight ratio of the vehicle.
