The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was rarely delivered in a color other than silver, gray, or black. White was already rare, and in a different color like yellow, green, blue, or red, it is an absolute rarity, with production numbers almost countable on one hand.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was introduced in 2004 and was Mercedes' flagship model. It was a supercar like no other before it, intended to evoke the legendary 300 SLR, which is now the most expensive vehicle ever auctioned worldwide, with a price of $142,000,000. The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren will probably never reach such a high price since it's not as rare as the 300 SLR.

The designation "722" refers to starting number 722, which Sir Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson wore during the 1955 Mille Miglia. They won the race in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR and set a record, which is honored with the 722 Edition. The SLR McLaren 722 Edition is powered by a 5.4-liter V8 supercharged engine producing 650 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque. This power enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just about 3.6 seconds and a top speed of over 337 km/h.
The SLR McLaren 722 Edition was produced in limited quantities, making it an extremely exclusive vehicle. Only 150 units were manufactured.
