This is the first Ferrari Purosangue in Belgium

For the very first time, we lay eyes on a Ferrari Purosangue on Belgian soil. In fact, it is considered the most powerful SUV in the world. If you're interested in the details and technical aspects of this Italian masterpiece, please read on:

Since the inception of Ferrari, there have always been 2+2 Ferraris, meaning these vehicles had four seats. The Purosangue, on the other hand, is the very first SUV that the brand presented some time ago, and now they are increasingly seen on the streets. We've even spotted one or two on Autogespot.

The Purosangue features a front mid-engine and rear transmission to create a sporty transaxle arrangement. The Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is positioned in front of the engine, ensuring a unique 4x4 drive system. This leads to a perfect weight distribution of 49:51%, which Maranello's engineers consider optimal for a front mid-engine sports car. Thanks to its performance and comfort, the Ferrari Purosangue stands out significantly from the competition. It is the only vehicle in its class with such proportions, equipped with a front-mid V12 naturally aspirated engine. This legendary engine from Maranello makes its debut in this brand-new configuration to ensure that the car, with its 725 PS, offers more power than any other in this segment while guaranteeing the most exhilarating Ferrari engine soundtrack. Moreover, it can deliver 80% of its torque at low RPMs, providing a unique driving experience at any time.

The entirely new chassis comes standard with a carbon fiber roof to keep weight low and lower the center of gravity. By completely redesigning the body, engineers were able to incorporate rear-hinged rear doors to ease entry and exit while keeping the vehicle as compact as possible. The cabin accommodates four adults with generous, electrically heated seats. The trunk is the largest ever in a Ferrari, and the rear seats can be folded down to increase storage space. The Purosangue, of course, offers a more commanding driving position compared to other Ferraris, but the configuration remains the same as with any other Ferrari. This still ensures a close-to-the-ground driving position to better connect with the vehicle's dynamic capabilities.
The Purosangue offers top-tier performance: 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and 0 to 200 in 10.6 seconds. The driving position and the captivating sound of the V12 naturally aspirated engine provide an entirely new yet typical Ferrari driving experience. The fact that numerous comfort-oriented features come as standard, such as the Burmester audio system, and the many optional extras, including the brand-new Alcantara upholstery made from certified recycled polyester, make the Purosangue a complete four-door, four-seat masterpiece in its
