Lamborghini is introducing a new vehicle that also marks a new chapter. The talk is about a new plug-in hybrid SUV, the Urus SE. We’ve already seen various types of the Urus, like the Urus Performante and the Urus S. This is another variant.

While all other versions of the Urus are based on the same design, this model has clear differences. A significant facelift has been undertaken. The most noticeable change is the modified headlights, which are a bit narrower and more rugged than the old ones. The rear has also been largely revamped. Overall, the edges and corners are somewhat more refined, but the whole vehicle still maintains a striking and bold look.
The biggest change, however, is the engine. The updated 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine produces 620 PS (456 kW) and 800 Nm of torque, supported by a 192 PS (141 kW) electric motor with 483 Nm. Combined, this results in 800 PS and 950 Nm, enabling outstanding acceleration and speed.

With an improved power-to-weight ratio of 3.13 kg/PS, the Urus SE accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h. These figures make it the fastest production SUV in its segment.
The Urus SE features a new electric torque-vectoring system that distributes power between the front and rear axles, ensuring optimal grip and agility. The all-wheel-drive system allows for a range of over 60 km in full-electric mode.

The Urus SE is thus the most powerful and agile model in the Urus lineup, both on the road and off-road.
Whether you think this model is necessary or not is up to you. However, Lamborghini was almost compelled to bring such a hybrid SUV to the market. It's only a matter of time before a fully electric model is ready for production
