Top 4 EV Supercars That Will Blow Your Mind

The days of curious onlookers wondering if electric supercars even existed are long gone. Long before mainstream luxury brands such as Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, and Bentley produced SUV versions of their ultra-luxury sports cars and luxury sedans, the electric revolution had already swept across the supercar market.

Many industries are being revolutionized by modern technology: from the sports betting industry with NFL, NBA and NCAAB picks, odds and predictions to automobile manufacturing with new electric vehicles, innovations in technology are stretching the boundaries of every known industry. This article analyzes the four most robust electric true-to-form supercars.

2022 Lotus Evija – 2,011 Horsepower
The Lotus Evija, which costs roughly $2 million is not only the now-Chinese-owned British company's first all-electric supercar, but also the world's first full-electric hypercar. The Norfolk-based automaker unveiled the Evija electric hypercar during the 2020 Monterey Car Week, which begins August 9, with deliveries set to start in 2022. Lotus claims the 2,000+ horsepower hypercar can accelerate from zero to 60 mph within just three seconds and peak out at 200 mph.

2022 Rimac Nevera – 1,940 Horsepower
After debuting to critical acclaim in 2013 and producing 88 units by November 2014, Croatian company Rimac Automobili announced the Concept One's successor, the C Two, eventually dubbed the Nevera and promoted by the carmaker as providing the ultimate electric hypercar driving dynamics. A 250 kW fast-charging platform enables this electric supercar to pack to 80% in 30 minutes. It employs facial recognition technology that can start the engine and unlock the doors.

2020 Aspark Owl – 1,984 Horsepower
The Aspark Owl is now the quickest accelerating electric supercar - and the Japanese firm behind it wouldn't have it any other way. The primary motivation behind the Owl's development was to produce the fastest electric car on the planet, culminating in an incredible performance that saw the Owl sprint from 0 to 60 mph in under 2 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 249 mph. The Owl is most likely the world's smallest road-legal electric hypercar, standing only 99 cm tall. It employs a one-of-a-kind battery pack with a range of 280 miles. Bloomberg reports that only 50 Owls will be made available to fly.

2022 Pininfarina Battista – 1,900 Horsepower
Surprisingly, Pininfarina is one of the more familiar names behind the new crop of four-digit horsepower electric supercars, even though the company appears to be more of a style house than a blue-blooded builder. Even more intriguing is that, although hailing from the same design house as over a hundred Ferraris, the Pininfarina Battista depends on a Rimac-supplied electric motor, allowing it to produce a remarkable 1,702 lb-ft of torque and 1,900 horsepower.
