One of the most extreme and beautiful Porsches ever created is undoubtedly the Porsche 959. It was a car born out of Porsche's rallying history. They appear only very rarely.

Every Porsche enthusiast's heart beats faster when they hear the name 959. And if they happen to see one, their heart starts racing. The 959 is such a historically significant and important model that it's impossible to imagine the 1980s model lineup without it.
The Porsche 959 was produced between 1986 and 1993. The 959 was a pioneer in technology. It was the first road-going sports car with all-wheel drive and variable power distribution between the front and rear axles.
The 959 was powered by a 2.8-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produced 450 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This allowed the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of around 317 km/h.
The Porsche 959 was used in the 1986 Paris-Dakar Rally and won in its category, further adding to its legend.
Thanks to its innovative aerodynamics, the 959 was a trailblazer. It featured a massive rear spoiler and numerous air intakes. Although the Porsche 959 was a high-performance sports car, it was also comfortable, offering amenities such as air conditioning, power windows, and leather seats, which were found only in very expensive cars at the time.
In total, only 292 examples of the Porsche 959 were produced, making it a rare and highly sought-after collector's item.
Due to its rarity and historical significance, the Porsche 959 is now a coveted collector's car and can be sold at auctions for millions of dollars. Currently, a Porsche 959 is valued at approximately $1,500,000.
