There are random spots and there are shooting spots, both have their charm. In this photo shoot, a GT4 RS was photographed, and the pictures are breathtaking.

The photographer R._Visuals had the opportunity to shoot this beautiful GT4 RS, and stunning images came out. But what does the GT4 RS actually have to offer?

When 500 horsepower (368 kW) from a high-revving mid-engine meet a purist 1,415 kg curb weight, it's time to redefine the term "driving pleasure": The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the new flagship of the 718 family - an uncompromising driver's car that impresses with its lightweight construction, extremely agile suspension tuning, sophisticated aerodynamics, and unique sound. Whether on tight, winding mountain roads or closed race tracks, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the king of the compact mid-engine class. On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, it outperforms its brother, the 718 Cayman GT4, by more than 23 seconds. The six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, known from the 911 GT3 Cup race car and the production model 911 GT3, forms the heart of a sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure. The engine revs up to 9,000 rpm. Compared to the 718 Cayman GT4, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS has an additional 80 horsepower (59 kW), resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 2.83 kg/PS. The maximum torque has been increased from 430 to 450 Nm.

Like every modern RS model, the new Porsche 718 GT4 RS is exclusively available with the Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK). This transmission shifts rapidly through its seven gears, guaranteeing maximum performance. The paddle shifters allow the driver to keep their hands on the steering wheel even during manual gear changes. Alternatively, they can use the newly designed gear selector on the center console. The Sport PDK with shorter gear ratios supports the incredible acceleration of this mid-engine sports car. The 718 Cayman GT4 RS sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (GT4 with PDK: 3.9 seconds) in just 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h (GT4 with PDK: 302 km/h), which it achieves in seventh gear.

In typical RS fashion, lightweight construction is a defining element of the new 718 Cayman GT4 RS design. The two-seater weighs only 1,415 kilograms when fully fueled and without the driver according to DIN standards, which is 35 kilograms less than a PDK-equipped 718 GT4. This weight reduction is achieved through the use of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) for components such as the hood and front wings. Lightweight carpets also save weight and reduce the use of insulation materials. The rear window is made of lightweight glass. Lightweight door panels with fabric pull loops and nets in the storage compartments round off the pursuit of every unnecessary gram.
