In this year’s thirth quarter, the new Corvette Stingray will finally be available in the dealerships. Fans of the All-American sports car had to wait for long until General Motors revealed the official specs for this car. Now they finally did, together with the price of the Stingray.
In the United States, the price of the Corvette Stingray starts at $51.995. In the United Kingdom, this is £61.495. With that, the car is way cheaper than the Porsche 991 Carrera, which is the biggest rival of this car. A considerable option for this car is the Z51 Performance Package, which includes the Aero package which looks more sporty, a limited-slip differential and a sportier chassis set up with track-use in mind. Corvette didn’t mention the top speed, but we have acceleration times for you. The quarter mile can be done in a good twelve seconds and the sprint to 100 kph takes only 3.9 seconds. The ‘old’ Corvette C6 used just over four seconds for that same sprint.
